95. A piece of skin

I'm a Muslim,
Not sure by birth,
Probably coz a piece of skin was ripped off,
No I don't mean to demean my religion
But every time you'll make sure
I'm reminded,
Not for the good, but just the bloodshed
For this, there'll never be a cure

I'm a Hindu,
Again not sure by birth
Maybe because I escaped the skin peel off
From a tender age
I have seen this rage
It's been imbibed in the head
Muslim is fear
Or terror
It's not a reality
But you need someone to blame
And have to take someone's name

No one will ever speak about,
A Musalman's dedication to his religion
When they read namaz 5 times a day without fail
Or they follow roza for 30days
The beauty behind the burka
Or the love behind the rage
You haven't read islam
But openly you will slam...

Please rethink,
The Next time you call any Muslim,
A terrorist
The difference is just a matter of a piece of skin..
Blame your thoughts
Not their attire or clothes
When I grow a beard, without a mustache i can also look like one
I'm a Hindu
But if you see a Gun,
Won't you still run.?
