Chapter 7

Today I was sure of getting an answer to all my questions. I felt like, I knew her better or maybe not, what if this is some prank I'm falling for, or what if this is some kind of a crime story to trap me. I was more confused yet hopeful.
"Today when I see you I will not lose my calm and control this chaos within", Is what I kept telling myself.
I wanted to be calm and control my anxiety. So I reached half n hour late to the event.
Entered in and stood aside.
Later registered my name for the event. Slowly my eyes started scanning the room. Person by person I kept looking.
But she wasn't present.
Thoughts running through my head.

I felt someone's hand on my shoulder and shuddered for a moment.

Only to realize, my name had been called out thrice and I had to recite next.
For I wasn't in the frame to read,
Still, I read these 4 lines
" Waiting for her was like a sweet pain,
He suffered an invincible rush to look into her eyes

While shivers ran in him at that thought".

Slowly, the brightness in my face started fading, I was losing the hope of her arrival
It was the last person left to perform and still, she was not to be seen anywhere.

With time even the show wrapped up and people started walking out.
I convinced myself to stay for some more time than the usual, but eventually, it was time to shut the cafe and I had to finally leave.

So I walked to the corner table in the cafe, to pick my bag and helmet.
I picked my bag and the helmet, while something fell on the floor.

A chain like thing, then I realized, it was a nipple clamp and a letter.

The first fold read

I had Goosebumps all over my hands and face, looking at the nipple clamps and reading those lines

Fuck, his was so intriguing but the suspense started frustrating me.

I walked out and lit a cigarette
You know the thing about cigarettes, it holds your head blank for those 30 secs when it hits.
The sound of it burning, makes you feel the fire is yet to come, so you're temporarily relaxed.
